Tone Generator Settings

Documentation for each of the Tone Generator options

Tone

The tone changes the type of sound the tone generator plays. The options include Triangle, Sine, Square, and Saw Wave.

Note: The best selection is a matter of preference and has no relationship to what instrument you are playing.

Volume

The volume changes the audio volume for the tone generator. A higher setting will produce louder audio and a lower setting will produce quieter audio.

Auto Octave Rounding

When using the chromatic tone generator (not the piano), Auto Octave Rounding will round to the next octave when playing scales and arpeggios when a sequence of notes played passes C.

Tip: If you don't like the octave jumps, turn this setting off.
